My name is Becky Kinross, a wedding videographer based in Jersey, creating natural, candid wedding films across the Channel Islands and the UK.

I’ve been obsessed with video ever since I was given a mini DV camera at 14. What started as a teenage hobby quickly turned into a career, leading me to train as a film editor at Arts University Bournemouth before working as an editor in London.

In 2011, I filmed my first wedding for a friend, and that was it. I was completely hooked. Capturing real moments, real people, and genuine emotion felt very different to anything else I’d done, and it’s what continues to shape my approach to wedding videography today.

Over time, that love of storytelling has grown into a bit of an obsession with Super 8 film. There’s something about its texture, nostalgia, and imperfect beauty that feels incredibly honest. It’s become a huge influence on my work, and I now incorporate Super 8 wedding film into my films for couples who want something truly timeless and unique. (I’ve even spoken at an industry conference about it.)

What began as a side project alongside my editing career gradually grew into something much bigger. In 2020, after having my second baby, I took the leap and turned my ‘side hustle’ into my full-time business, and I’ve never looked back.

Today, I create relaxed, documentary-style wedding videography for couples who want their day captured in a natural, unobtrusive way, whether that’s here in Jersey or further afield across the UK.

I live in Jersey with my husband, our two children, and our cat and dog. When I’m not filming or editing, you’ll usually find me chasing after the kids or enjoying a quiet coffee in the sunshine.
