A day filled with laughter, tears, and so much love, Eve and Greg’s wedding was one I won’t forget.

They were married at the beautiful Château La Chaire, surrounded by their family and friends. Tucked away in one of the most picturesque corners of Jersey, Château La Chaire provided the perfect backdrop for such a heartfelt and joy-filled celebration.

Greg is originally from South Africa, and these two lovebirds first met when Greg was Eve’s safari guide. As Eve’s dad perfectly put it, “their love was written in the African stars, or perhaps more likely, thanks to Facebook”.

From their very first enquiry, I knew this wedding was going to be special. Eve told me how much she loved Super 8 and that nostalgic, vintage feel, so when it came to editing their wedding film, I wanted to weave that same sense of nostalgia throughout. I aimed to create a cinematic wedding film that felt timeless, emotive, and full of warmth.

As a Jersey wedding videographer, I love creating films that feel authentic to each couple, capturing not just how a wedding looked, but how it felt. Eve and Greg’s day was full of genuine emotion, beautiful connections, and so many unforgettable moments.

Working alongside Melissa Rodrigues Photography made the day even more special. Mel is a close friend of the newlyweds, so filming alongside her felt like being welcomed into the family. That made the whole experience feel incredibly personal.
